Biography
Dr. Tammy Fogarty is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with experience in nutrition education, health promotion, and clinical practice. She earned her PhD in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University and has extensive experience teaching undergraduate and graduate students in nutrition and health sciences. Dr. Fogarty's teaching and scholarly interests include clinical nutrition, chronic disease prevention and management, women's health, healthy aging, lifestyle medicine, and evidence-based nutrition interventions.
Her professional focus is on translating nutrition science into practical, patient-centered strategies that support long-term health and wellness. She is committed to fostering student success through engaging instruction, mentorship, and the development of critical thinking skills necessary for evidence-based healthcare practice.
