About the Lab
The Wei Laboratory at Florida Atlantic University investigates the molecular and cellular mechanisms that drive neurodegenerative disease, with a primary focus on Huntington鈥檚 disease (HD). Our overarching goal is to define how genetic vulnerability interacts with environmental factors to alter neuronal function and accelerate disease progression.
We integrate human stem cell models, multi-omics technologies, and systems-level functional analyses to uncover actionable therapeutic pathways.
