On March 18, 2020, the聽 Families First Coronavirus Response Act 聽and the聽 Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act 聽were signed into law. Both laws go into effect聽 today . For more information about these聽 COVID-19-related employment laws , including eligibility requirements and a benefits summary that relate to Florida Atlantic University employees, . I鈥檇 also like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that our professionals at聽 Counseling and Psychological Services 聽stand ready to provide confidential help to any聽 student 聽who needs assistance. Therapists are available 24 hours a day. The number for these services is聽 561-297-3540 .听 Faculty and staff 聽may seek help聽through the at 1-800-865-3200 .
