¹ú²ú×ÔÅÄ Receives Community Engagement Classification

Community Engagement is one of the platforms highlighted in the university’s 2015 strategic plan, and I am delighted to share that ¹ú²ú×ÔÅÄ is one of 119 institutions nationwide to receive the Carnegie Community Engagement Classification. In addition to recognizing our institutional commitment to community engagement, this designation reaffirms the importance of our world-class educational and outreach programs and partnerships in enhancing our students’ learning experiences, while promoting community development and economic prosperity.
I’d like to thank everyone who helped ¹ú²ú×ÔÅÄ achieve this wonderful designation, especially Dr. Ron Nyhan, who led this initiative.
We will continue to work with Unbridled Ambition ®  to promote a culture of strategic and collaborative community engagement for the benefit of ¹ú²ú×ÔÅÄ’s faculty, staff and students; and our greater society.
