Friday, Aug. 30 is College Colors Day, a nationwide celebration to kick off the academic year and usher in a new season of intercollegiate athletics. I encourage everyone in the Florida Atlantic family to show your Owl pride by wearing our school colors, red and blue.

On Friday, Florida Atlantic will host from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the Boca Raton campus and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Jupiter campus. Students, faculty, staff and alumni are welcome to attend these spirited events and enjoy free food, live music, giveaways and more.

Also on Friday, the ¹ú²ú×ÔÅÄ Football team will play its first game of the season at 7 p.m. at Michigan State. I am excited to cheer on the Owls in person as they set another action-packed season into motion. The first home football game will be Saturday, Sept. 7 against the Army Black Knights. I look forward to seeing ¹ú²ú×ÔÅÄ Stadium filled with red and blue to support our Owls.
