At long last, �������� Football kicks off its season tomorrow, October 3, at home against UNC Charlotte. The team ended the 2019 season with its second Conference USA title and its second CheriBundi Boca Raton Bowl title in just three years. The Owls finished the season 11-3 and are only the second Conference USA team to win at least 11 games twice in three seasons. The team is now 4-0 in bowl games.

This promises to be an exciting season under new head coach Willie Taggart. I hope you will join me at �������� Stadium to cheer the team on to victory. Our players are working hard to stay healthy so we can enjoy football this fall, and I know they would appreciate your energy in the stands on game day.

While you’re on campus, we ask you to help “Protect Your Owl Family.” This includes wearing a mask at all times, both inside and outside the stadium; practicing physical distancing, by maintaining six feet between you and others; keeping your hands clean, by washing with soap and water or using hand sanitizer; and of course, staying home if you feel unwell.
