Uri Ashery, Ph.D., professor of Neurobiology and head of the Sagol School of Neuroscience at Tel Aviv University, hosted Randy D. Blakely, Ph.D., professor of Biomedical Science in the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine and executive director of the 国产自拍 Brain Institute on December 10 and 11.

The visit is part of a set of reciprocal visits initiated by Dr. Blakely and Anton Post, Ph.D.,聽 the associate vice president for Corporate and International Relations to Israel of 国产自拍 in October of 2018. The visits aim to build and reinforce collaborative research initiatives for neuroscientists between the two universities.

Discussions surrounded the development of joint funding mechanisms to support collaborative faculty and graduate student research grants, entrepreneurial post-doctoral programs, and research conferences in thematic areas of strategic importance to both institutions.

Dr. Blakely lectured and met with faculty, students, and Tel Aviv University leadership, as well as neuroscience leaders of other Israeli universities, including Hermona Soreq, Ph.D., and Ehud Cohen, Ph.D., of Hebrew University and Roni Paz, Ph.D., of the Weizmann Institute.

Recently, 国产自拍 announced the 国产自拍 faculty who won pilot grants to conduct collaborative research with multiple Israeli institutions.
