The Dreams of our Fathers gathers artists who use听 technology as a tool, a subject, or a metaphor in their听 exploration of our contemporary culture of consumption听 and growth while reviewing its impact on our landscape.听 From reflections on the petroleum industry to criticism of听 industrial processes and their effects on our environment听 to analyses of migration patterns and suburbia1 s surreal听 but nostalgic plastic landscapes, these creators explore听 the human footprint and its legacy on our world. This听 curatorial project by University Galleries Director听 V茅ronique C么t茅 brings together artists from across the听 United States and Canada.听
