PhD students Ana-Christina Acosta Gaspar De Alba, Ali Friedberg Tal-mason, and Charlie Gleek hosted a panel along with ¹ú²ú×ÔÅÄ's Dr. Wendy Hinshaw at ¹ú²ú×ÔÅÄ's on April 20 at ¹ú²ú×ÔÅÄ's Davie campus. The panel session, entitled "Incorporating Digital Humanities in First-Year Writing Pedagogy," highlighted various approaches that Graduate Teaching Assistants used to incorporate the Digital Humanities in their writing classrooms. Their topics included the use of ¹ú²ú×ÔÅÄ's AMP lab, TED Talks, copyright considerations, and tools such as Google Apps for Education (GAFE), Voyant Tools (an open source text analysis and data visualization tool), and Hypothes.is (an open source and social annotation tool).
