Amy Rumrill, M.Ed., CRC, is a Workforce Strategy and Engagement Coordinator with AccessTECH. She holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Business Administration and a master鈥檚 degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, both from Kent State University, and she is a nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. Amy has worked in the field of rehabilitation counseling for 25 years, providing direct services, administering grant-funded projects, teaching graduate-level courses in vocational rehabilitation, implementing career development interventions, and supervising counselors and case managers. She has served as a Grants Administrator in the Center for Disability Studies at Kent State University; as a Vocational Specialist with Sedgwick Insurance Company; as an adjunct faculty member in the Kent State University Rehabilitation Counseling program; as Clinical Field Supervisor and Assistant Director of RETAIN Kentucky, a statewide workforce development initiative funded by the U.S. Department of Labor, as a Project Manager at the Wisconsin Center on Education Research, and as President and Principal Owner of PAR Workforce Enterprises, LLC. Her career counseling protocols and training materials have been widely used in large-scale vocational rehabilitation projects in Kentucky, Ohio, Mississippi, Illinois, and Florida. She consults with national-level research organizations and university centers on disability regarding career exploration, job search strategies, vocational evaluation, and demand-side employer engagement. She also renders vocational expert opinions in Federal disability determination proceedings.
